NASDAQ Feels Down

New York, NY - The NASDAQ stock exchange, known for its representation of a wide variety of high-technology corporations, has been feeling rather down recently, as much as 50 points in one day, analysts say.

"I'm just really tired today," said the beleaguered stock exchange. "Some brokers tried to cheer me up by buying a bunch of my stocks, but it just isn't working for me today. Bill Gates sent me a 'Get Well Really Soon' card, too."

When asked why it was feeling so depressed, the NASDAQ replied, "Well, all this stuff about war and terrorists is starting to get to me, I guess. But mainly I'm blue because my puppy ran away."

Markets analysts agree that a market rebound is almost certain if the NASDAQ's 1-year-old brown Dachsund, named Fluffles, can be found.
