Peanut Butter, Jelly "No Longer On Speaking Terms"

SANDWICH, PLATE - Just weeks after what was then called their "amicable separation," famous lunchtime couple Peanut Butter and Jelly have split for good, announced Jelly's spokeswoman Friday.

The two separated last month after Peanut Butter's public run-in with several t-shirts, who had to undergo serious laundering operations to repair the damage. Jelly, upset with her beau's actions, apparently demanded the separation. The cause of the recent news, however, is still under speculation.

"I've got Aller -- Geese;" said 4-year-old Timmy Chase of Darron, IN, a long-time fan of both Peanut Butter and Jelly. "Peanut Butter makes me get spots an' hurt an' itch alot. Mommy says I can't eat it no more."

Peanut Butter and Jelly, who have recently taken to calling themselves P. Butty and J. Ly in order to create new public images separate from their past identity as a couple, are both working on new albums due out this fall. P. Butty's is called "Armed and Crunchy;" J. Ly's will be titled "Big Smucker Booty."
